Just had a client who needed a product landing page for their new smartwatch and didn’t want to pay Shopify’s monthly fees. Smartic was the theme that finally made WooCommerce look like a modern landing page builder instead of a clunky shop from 2015.
What actually works
The product page builder is where this thing shines. You can drag-and-drop sections for hero shots, feature grids, video demos, and trust badges without touching code. The WooCommerce integration is tight it doesn’t feel like a shop theme forced into a landing page format. The countdown timers and stock counters actually sync with real product data, not fake dummy numbers. Runs on Elementor, so you’re not stuck learning some obscure builder that’ll be dead in a year.
Getting it
ThemeForest exclusive. Search “Smartic Product Landing Page WooCommerce Theme,” pay $59, download the package. Inside you’ll find smartic-installable.zip that’s what you upload. Don’t upload the whole unpacked folder or WordPress will just throw a “broken theme” error at you.
License stuff
Standard Envato rules: one regular license = one live site. Local development is free, but if you keep a public staging site up for more than a couple weeks, you’re technically supposed to buy a second license. I’ve never heard of them actually enforcing this, but it’s there in the fine print.
$59 gets you:
- Lifetime updates (author is Layerdrops, they seem to push updates when WooCommerce drops major versions)
- 6 months of support, extendable to 12 months for about $17
- Use it on a client site if they own the license
If you’re building for a client, just add the license cost to your invoice and register it under their name. Makes handoff way cleaner.
Installation
Upload theme → install bundled plugins (Elementor, Smartic Core, WooCommerce if you don’t have it) → import demo. The demo importer lets you pick specific landing page layouts instead of importing everything, which is nice. Whole process takes maybe 15 minutes. The WooCommerce setup is what eats time configuring products, payments, shipping. That’s not the theme’s fault though.
Bottom line
If you’re tired of product pages that look like Amazon clones and want something that actually converts, Smartic delivers. It’s not the cheapest theme, but the time you save not hacking together a landing page from scratch is worth it. Don’t bother with nulled versions the WooCommerce integration checks for a valid license key and breaks updates if it doesn’t find one. Just buy it.
